Sixth Blog
I was really happy to get to the end of the book. After reading a really sad story, I feel really good to read the happy end of it. It wasn't really good for the rest of the girls but it was for Lakshmi. She got help from the American man. She had been waiting for this moment long time ago, and now her dream comes true. I still feel bad for what happened to her and how she's going to tell her family about it. I also feel sad for the other girls that are still there.

Fifth Blog:
If I was Lakshmi's best friend, I'll try to make her feel better and help her out if I can. I can talk to her and calm her down when she needs to. If I have access to the other world outside, I'll try to get help from others and help this whole thing to stop. I'll also let other people who are coming for work that they will get tricked and sold. I'll stay by her side and help her out.
Forth Blog:
after Lakshmi moved to India, she started experiencing a new life. She couldn't believe what's happening with her. It's really hard for her now to leave. Some girls in the brothel have kids and they live as a family, but Lakshmi is alone and don't want kids because it'll be hard for her to go back to her village with a baby. think that people who live around there know what's going on but don't want to help or maybe can't help.

Third Blog:
Now that I left Nepal and went to India for work, I noticed that I was tricked! I'm not going to work as a maid for the lady Mumtaz, but I have to sell myself in order to leave this brothel and save my life. I have to pay to escape this jail, and all I get is 30 rupees from each man. This won't be enough especially that Mumtaz takes some of the money to her own benefit. I feel like I'm jailed now and have to do what I asked for in order to get away and leave this place which they call the "Happiness House". I'm not the only one here, there are other girls who do the same thing as I do. they came to work but find out that they were sold for prostitution. Can't do anything about it but wait for the right time to escape or wait until you get old, sick and useless, so Mumtaz can throw you away! I'll do anything to leave this place and go back home, but how can I, after all what happened to me????

First Blog:
I chose Sold because I read the summery on the back of it, and it seemed like a really sad story. It's about this girl who traveled to India for work but after getting there she found out that she had been sold into prostitution. To be honest, the cover wasn't really interesting! All i liked about it, is the title because it describes the whole story. people that are in my group are: Dee and Hebaq. we are planning to finish the book in the due date and do all our blogs and worksheets on time.
